Nurses are the medical professionals who get things done all while being compassionate, caring and kind. If you are too cold – you call a nurse. If you need medication, you call a nurse. If you need someone to sit with you at the end of your life – a nurse is there. If you are bringing life into the world – who’s by your side? A nurse. Don’t misconstrue this – doctors and other medical professionals are important, but the nurses do the real heavy lifting. Another great thing about nurses – they work everywhere. You find them in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, outpatient clinics, rehab centers, group homes, insurance companies corporations. It is hard to think of a business that does not benefit from employing a nurse. So – let’s all remember the gentle person who was beside you when you needed it. Thank a nurse for their service.
