The ATC Healthcare staffing franchise is always looking for new ways to help our communities stay healthy, and we’ve been working extra hard to do just that since the COID-19 pandemic struck the U.S. hard last March. We’ve gone beyond our typical scope of services—last year at the height of the pandemic, we unveiled ATC Testing and Screening Services to help with COVID-19 testing when people desperately needed the service.
Now, the need has shifted toward vaccine distribution, and we’re happy to be a part of that effort as well. Most recently, we launched a Times Square pop-up vaccine clinic staffed by more than 80 out-of-work Broadway workers who support our clinical staff in administrative rolls. At this site, we have been able to vaccinate up to 1,500 people a day with the help of out-of-work performers, producers, and managers who are working diligently to run the clinic smoothly so they can get back to entertaining the masses on one of New York’s most well-known streets. The vaccine clinic primarily serves those who work in the theater, film and television industries.
“Being able to fill 100% of the non-clinical jobs with laid off members of the theater community at the Times Square site is something really special,” said Jordan Savitsky, president of ATC Healthcare’s vaccine division. “At ATC, our forte is top-tier medical services solutions – wrangling theater workers is a challenge we hadn’t encountered before. We met the challenge head-on, and the result is that we have some unbelievably talented people from the theater community working to get their peers vaccinated so we can all enjoy the magic of Broadway again.”
We continue to shift and adapt with the ever-changing healthcare industry, and we’re looking for adaptable, passionate people to join out healthcare staffing franchise. Reach out to us to learn more about becoming a franchisee and joining our ATC Healthcare franchise family.
